Currently acceptable student residency verification requirements may be found here. As part of this process, two (2) current proofs of residency in digital form must be submitted. Annual registration is required for all Bossier Parish students and is necessary for student/parent access to class schedule, assignments, grades, homework, etc. The OnCourse SIS also supports Louisiana's graduation pathways, transmits IBCs to eScholar, and generates state forms like 504s and IGPs in the LDOE format.Annual Registration for returning students is now open in the OnCourse Connect Parent Portal. OnCourse adapts rapidly as LDOE requirements change with new projects like EdLink or traditional reporting like SIS, CUR, PEP, CRDC, STS, and SPC.

With LDOE guidance, OnCourse is releasing a range of COVID-related features, like Student Contact Logging, Daily Screenings, and remote student-led attendance. Teachers can create video lessons, tech-enhanced assessments, and use their own Google content with an integration to the OnCourse Grade Book. When the COVID shutdown happened, OnCourse SIS districts pivoted swiftly into the OnCourse Classroom LMS, giving students and parents a consistent online learning experience inside the same portal they use every day. When the 2019 cyberattack hit, the cloud-based OnCourse SIS was "invisible" to outside threats, allowing parish schools to continue using the system with no disruption.
