After the incident, Taka felt like the world was collapsing around him again, but Toru comforted him and the band continued without Alex. On April 05, 2009, Alex was arrested for groping the leg of a twenty-one-year-old female student on a train. They had planned to release two albums at the same year, so they released Kanjou Effect. After releasing the album they performed a gig at Shibuya AX. In 2008, they released their next album Beam of Light, but in an interview with Rockin'On Magazine in June 2012, Taka and the band said that they don't consider this one as an album, but rather as a part of growing up as a band. After those singles, Taka and the band released their debut album Zeutakubyou and had their first tour the Tokyo-Osaka-Nagoya Quattro Tour. Those singles are Naihi Shinsho, Yume Yume and Et Cetera. They released three singles that same year.

In 2007, the band started to record for their single with the help of Koichi Korenaga, Satoru Hiraide and INA. Taka is now the vocalist of Toru's band, which is named "ONE OK ROCK". In 2002, he signed with Johnny's Entertainment and joined the boy band, NEWS, in 2003.
